Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County
Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County was established in San Diego in 1961 and has served over 17,000 children. The main focus of their program is to establish one-to-one friendship matches between men and boys, and women and girls. These matches supply children with positive support and guidance from a caring, screened adult friend. Having an adult friend from outside the family has proven to assist a child in coping with the challenges of growing up.
